Tofu & Purple Pepper Scramble on Rye Pumpernickel Bread 🌱
Chances are you’ll already know that CONTROVERSIALLY I’m not an enormous fan of tofu scramble. It’s okay, however there are many issues I’d want to have on toast! (Particularly when it appears to be like soggy, that makes me gip worse than porridge 🤢 – one other unpopular opinion 😅) … HOWEVER I haven’t truly made it with Kala Namak or ‘black salt’ but and I’ll admit it I loved it much more with the eggy flavour!
I added some sautéed purple peppers and had this on Pumpernickel Bread as a brilliant duper wholesome brekkie seeing as I plan to damage myself with takeaway pizza and gin tonight 😌
For the scramble:
– half a block of tofooco tofu
-finely diced purple onions & spring onions
– a handful of spinach
– seasoned with turmeric, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper & kala namak – to style 👅
I’ll positively be making this once more as a part of a Full English quickly!
